Shame is a powerful force that can crush the soul and a vacant enemy who relentlessly pursues the broken places in one’s life.
Yet, shame is also patient, awaiting the inevitable self-destruction of those who are evil. When the inevitable calamity strikes, shame is there with the final, slow poison of self loathing.
We are not meant to live under the foul torment of shame. Rather through the power of Jesus we have been set free. Live as one set free, without shame.
