The Detroit Eve’s Angels chapter (mainly made up of women from Citadel of Faith Covenant Church, Faith Covenant Church, and Dearborn Covenant Church) are working together to reach out to the women in the sex industry in Detroit. Teams of women have been going into the various strip clubs in Detroit talking with the women, praying with them and handing out gift bags that contain a Bible, lip gloss, lotion, chocolate, and information about Citadel and Eve’s Angels. We are in need of the following help:

1. More people; we meet on Thursday evening at 6:30pm at Citadel of Faith at 1419 W Warren Ave

2.Ideas, thoughts, donations, etc.  toward a safe house in the Detroit area for women who have come out of the sex industry

2. Gift bag items

• E.L.F or ELI lip glosses for $1 at Walmart, Target, Meijer, etc.

• Bath and Body Works 2oz lotion

• Gift cards to purchase the above items

The Eve’s Angels national group is getting ready to participate in this year’s EXXXOTICA pornography convention in Chicago, July 13-15. Eve’s Angels participated last year and it was a total success. It was a wonderful opportunity to help the people in the porn industry to understand and accept the love of Jesus Christ.

They have registered this year for a booth and are starting to get the gifts together for the girls in the industry, and for those that want to receive salvation while they are there.  Please consider being a partner with Eve’s Angels in this endeavor. You can donate online at:

There is also a prayer sign up sheet for the time the Eve’s Angels ladies are at the convention. Last year, they were bathed in prayer by people who wanted to serve through intercession. Save the Date!

Come help us raise money for kids to enjoy a week of camp and I have a great time doing it!   We have many, many requests for financial help each year to enable kids to be able to come to camp.  We have been blessed at past golf outings with very generous golfers and sponsors who give so that every kid can be a camper.  The golf outing has raised about $176,000 for camper scholarships in the last 15 years.

The event will be held at “The Highlands Golf Club” (www.highlandsGR.com) on June 9th, with a shot gun tee-off at 8:00 a.m. and a dinner following catered by Outback Steakhouse! 

Golf Participant: Donation of $150 (extra donations gladly accepted!).  Includes 18 holes of golf with cart, free range balls and a fantastic banquet.

Hole Sponsor: Donation of $250 per hole.  A sign will be placed on the course designating your name, place of business or a favorite Scripture verse, etc.

Prize Donations: Donate items that can be used for prizes.  Items can include gift certificates, golf equipment or clothing, sports memorabilia, etc…whatever you can come up with!

Invite a Friend: This year, why not invite a friend to play golf, support camp and meet others from throughout the state?  Let’s have a complete field of players!

This gathering is a scramble event, set up to increase the fun and make the outing enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.  Even if you don’t golf, please consider joining us for the meal.  Come for fellowship, come to golf or come to hear about camp.  Whatever the reason, come for the ministry!
